    Strep throat and anxiety disorder
    I have strep throat, is it OK if I take xanax 0.5 with my strep throat pills, as I am having hot flashes( skin feels warm but no fever ) and difficulty sleeping

    Not without your doctor's permission. Did he prescribe Xanax? If so, are you supposed to take Xanax? Does he know about the strep?

    I'm suffering from anxiety disorder, recently I got strep throat, I just took 1 of my xanax 0.5 as I felt like I was having a panic city attack, but around 7 hours ago I just ate my strep throat antibiotic and other medication for strep throat, will I be fine ( Xanax with strep throat medication)?

    Does the doctor who prescribed the antibiotic know about the Xanax?

    No he does not.. The antibiotic is clarithromycin

    Call your pharmacist or, better, the doctor who prescribed Xanax.

    Yes, your Xanax is okay to take with the antibiotic.
