    Want to put a ecosmart 150 watt bulb in garage light outlet. 120v 42watts .700 A... 35 yr old home so light is in porcelan receptacle. Came on fine then started to sprk... do I need new wire, receptacle, breaker or all three?

    Probably the receptacle but could be the bulb. Try another bulb. If you want to replace the receptacle, they are still available for $5 or less.
