    Even though it has little horsepower, why does a 2012 Ford Fusion feel like it
    Normally I drive a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, and happy with everything except the gas mileage. It's a pretty damn fast car, and has a very powerful V8. However, when I rented a 2012 Ford Fusion it seemed like the car was fast even though it was a low horsepower car. I'm just curious how a low horsepower vehicle can feel faster than a car that has high horsepower, and a bigger engine.

    The Fusion may have had a 5 or 6 speed transmission and a 3.0L Duratec Engine, which is not too shabby.
