Light bulb for Hampton Bay ceiling fan
    Hello,

I bought a Carriage House II Hampton Bay ceiling fan on Friday. One of the bulbs included with the fan doesn't work. The box says 40 watt max. I went back to Home Depot today (Monday) and they don't carry this particular light; they have a 60 watt. It has a candelabra base but the ones they had were either too large or small.

So, what do I do now? I never knew there were so many different size light bulbs.
    Thank you.

    J.

I am surprised they don't have your bulb. Just go to a hardware store, ACE if there is one near you. That bulb is fairly common.

This fan uses standard bulbs. Home Depot does have them, bring the old one back and let them match it up. The shape may be slightly different but the base and wattage will be the same.

Looking for spiral type 14 W, TCP # 33014M - spiral type. Looked in Home Depot, Lowe's, and hardware stores in the Las Vegas area - no luck.

Above bulb has 4 plug in leads (on the bottom, 2 on each side) and is used on a Hampton Bay ceiling fan.

Any help on where bulb replacements can be found would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!

Home Depot should sell it since it's their fan. If not contact Hampton Bay. Or try a lighting supply house.

Went to ace, they don't have it either! This stinks,no one has this bulb. Everyone has the fan but no one carries the bulb. What gives?
