    Inglis washer repair
I need to know how to go about removing and replacing the lid switch on my heavy duty direct drive 6 cycle machine. Can the top be lifted or does the machine need to be torn down? Any diagrams or hints would be greatly appreciated.

This is (should be-if not, search "inglis washer diagrams") one diagram on an inglis washer from sears parts site.
If you go to the sears washer parts site, you may be able to enter or find the diagram for your particular model number.
