What can a father do? I work hard and solid for the last 4 years ever since I got soul custody of my 2 small children. I filed amended taxes this year for the last two years. My refund was for 16,000 dollars. Because I owe back support for my third child the state took every damn penny from me and my kids. Now I am on medical leave due to major back problems. Now I can't work and am going to be going for spinal surgery and will be down for a long recovery. I have now no income and the state won't let collect child support because the kid's mom is on S.S.I.. "WHAT CAN A FATHER DO????"

So with mother on SSI, you have already filed for them to collect payments from state I assume.

But sorry, why are you so mad about them taking money you owed, if this was that ex taking about being owed 16,000, and not having anything.

They took the money because you were not doing your duty and legal responsibility to pay. No one is going to feel sorry for you, for being made to pay the back support.

No I am more than happy to pay what I owe. I am a man doing what I can all I'm saying is we are going through a hardship and it seemed that cse didn't care that they were leaving us stranded all I wanted was a small portion of that to put away now we sit completely stranded and I don't know were to turn

So you go back to court and get the support reduced.
