    External hard drive won't open
    I have Verbatim 320GB external hard drive, I've had it for over two years, it's about 4/5 full and it won't open any more. Is it possible to get into this hard drive again? I have a lot of important stuff on it that I need to get.

    To answer your question yes, that's the good news, there are ways to get information off hard drives. Now the other part of this is that unless you have the equipment to do so you will have to pay someone to do it for you. Also sometimes the reason you can't get the info is because of damage on the drive or virus. So very often they can pull off most of the info but maybe not all of it. I recommend looking into private companies to do it. Often you can find someone to do it for less than a big box store. When I went to Best buy they said they charge around $100 and up to do it. Good Luck getting your info back.
