    ETG testing and Incidental exposure
I'm in a monitoring program facilitated by Quest Diagnostics. I consumed less than a tablespoon combined of balsamic vinegar and soy sauce the day of an ETG test. I am a female, weigh 215 lbs, and have been sober for over 4 months. I didn't drink much water throughout the day because I've had low creatinine results a few times. Do I have a chance of failing this test? Thank you

Highly unlikely that those two things are going to cause a spike in your ETG level and create a positive on a test. Mouthwash and other things of those nature are more likely to cause a positive.

I hope you're right! I'm usually so careful about what I eat and drink, had clinicals that day, tired, just wasn't thinking. I'll post my results when I get them

Incidental exposure to EtG [ 2 Answers ]

Dr. Bill, I've been sober for almost 3 weeks and am set to start my treatment for diversion on WED morning, with a urine test(I'm guessing drugs and EtG) somewhere between 9-12PM PST. At 3PM PST today, I squeezed Purell onto my right hand without thinking and then quickly washed it off. Am I...

I came to the U.S. in 2008 and worked on H1-B for just 2 months. Then I left the U.S. I know that I must file nonresident tax return, and will not get standard deduction. Can I claim per diem expenses for my short stay during H1-B?
