    Electrical questions
    Got a dryer plug with 120v on both side but when I check both sides together I don't have nothing what would be causing this

    Help us out a little here. Are we talking about a hair dryer or a 240 Vac Clothes dryer?

    ... and also if this is a dryer, does it have a two-pole circuit breaker?

    Both sides are on the same phase.

    Do you have some skinny breakers in your panel that feed this? Are there some breakers in your panel that are twice as wide?
