    I live in ga and I wantto get a divorce by publication can I do this I was told that
    I live in Ga and I was told that I could run a ad in the paper for my divorce. I wanted to know how do I go about doing that, basically what I had to do?

    You file for divorce. Then after you have exhausted the process you ask the judge for notification by publication. Then after a lengthy waiting period you can have the divorce granted by default.

    Publication is used when all other attempts to serve your spouse have been exhausted. You still have to file in court. However, most states have no fault divorces so obtaining a divorce should not be difficult.
