    How can I file perjury?
I just finished a lawsuit case in which a former employee, whom I had fired for theft, testified against me. She had been my former assistand then GM of my business, worked closely with me so believable. Although it had nothing to with the lawsuit opposing council had her testify about my character. Everything she said was a lie, including I was a drug addict, took 15 antipsychotic medicines, said she rode with me to get scriipts in other counties, slept in the office after "carousing" all night, etc. I have never taken any drugs and am a workaholic, with no time to "carouse". After I caught her stealing and she knew she was to be fired she faked and collected on a workmans comp claim.
She smirked as she left the stand at me as though to say I got you.
I ended losing the case and can't help but wonder if the judges opinion of me was influenced. I was told by another employee she met in the elevator she told him she was testifying about my drug addiction. In any event do not like my name hurt in such a way and don't believe she should go unpunished. I know perjury is rarely pursued but is criminal. How can I go about pursuing this against her? I know I could sue her for slander but don't really have the time or money right now. I think under oath people need to be held accountable.

Perjury is a criminal charge. If you can prove she perjured herself, report it to the local prosecutor.
