    Income statement
    How to make a traditional income statement with costs organized by function
    Selling:
    Advertising: $950 per month
    Deleivery of television: $40 per TV
    Sales salaries and commisions: $2900 plus 4 percent of sales
    Utilities $400 per month
    Depriciation of sales facilities:$ 3000 per month

    Administrative:
    Executive salaries: $8000 per month
    Depriciation of office equipment: $500 per month
    Clerical: $1500 per month plus $40 per television sold
    Insurance: $400 per month

    During April the company sold and delieverd 150 televisions
