So I came to college and met this girl. She is everyone that I've ever wanted in a girl. Nice, gorgeous, etc... Only issue is she had a boyfriend. It was inevitable that they were going to break up. Also another issue for me is that she started to talk to one of my best friends whose a real . Literally I'm one of the only people I know who likes him which I kind of only do out of pity. So she has a small amount of feeling for him. Slowly and slowly we become better friends with her and I begin to like her more and more. She started warming up to me more than my friend in just about every way. Touched me more, sat near me more, talked to me more, told me I was her favorite, etc. Also at this point about 100 other things were going on in my life that I couldn't really control and in an understandable sense freaked out a little and told her how I felt since I felt that was the only thing I had control over. She told me if we couldn't be friends in the end it would make her devastated... (es) I really freaked her out but I went back and had to explain that it was just a freakout not even about her. Two days later she breaks up with her boyfriend. She keeps just being a good friend of mine. But then one day she started hooking up with my best friend. Does not talk to him like she talks to me or ever say good things about him when everyone bashes him. She actually says bad things. Do you think my buddy is a rebound and she will come to me later or should I just give up?
P.S
I really love this girl and I've been better about hiding it recently. I can't just not be her friend because everyone I hang around hangs with her all the time.

Only she knows how she fees, but again, just like the other break up, most likely this one is too soon for everyone, Sounds like you were not ready for one, she was not either, and you said way too much to fast

But only she knows how she feels and what she feels, If you can't ask her and talk to her about it, you really have no relationship anyway

I am sorry to hear that. In my opinion, that girl is so important, I think you shouldn't give up. You need to get her heart in good ways. Good luck.
