    Hair and period loss
    Hello,
    10 months ago I decided to lose weight. I lost 8kg in one month by starving myself. Since then I didn't had my period a singe time even though I wasn't underweight.
    5 months ago I started bingeing. Hardcore. I gained all the weight back and then some. However my period didn't come back. Also, 3-4 months ago my hair started falling out like crazy and still is. Everythime I brush or wash my hair I have full palms of hair... I can see bold patches on my scalp and it became so thin its really embarrassing... can this be due to binge eating? I usually eat about 5500 give or take calories in one binge...
    I know I have a serious problem and I will hopefully be seeing a therapist soon.

    You should see a doctor/therapist sooner than later. Your unhealthy eating habits are messing up your metabolism/hormones and you should get that under control.
    I can recommend a good book about healthy eating (but not as a substitute to see a doctor): Eat to Live by Joel Furman.
