    Pilot relight/inspection cap
I'm looking for a cap to cover the pilot relight/inspection hole on my propane furnace. The furnace manufacturer (Temco) is no longer in business. The furnace works, has been serviced. The only missing piece is the cover cap for the pilot relight. Thank you.

Go to Lowe's, they have all sorts of plastic and metal caps in the hardware dept, in the drawers. If appearance isn't an issue, just use a piece of metal air duct tape.

Cannot relight gas water heater pilot light [ 2 Answers ]

After I light it, my gas water heater pilot light always goes out when I release the pilot light knob. This occurs regardless of how long I have been depressing the knob (usually several minutes) to keep the pilot light going after I have ignited it.
