    Help!! Dodgy workmanship
Hi I have just had a new combi boiler fitted and tank removed from airing cupboard, I believe the standard of work to be very bad, we have a leaking pipe in airing cupboard, leaking radiator, hole in kitchen wall etc etc, I need some sort of gas inspector to come round and check this for me, to check that his is safe, does anyone know how I do this. Thanks

Your town/city/district/county, etc. must have some kind of building inspectional services. Contact your local tax people or a local bank if necessary and ask them to point you in the right direction!

In some communities they don't really have a town hall or a city hall, just a sheriff or a tax collector or people like that... just so rural, I guess. In cases like these people can't just contact the local building department, but they can get in touch with knowledgeable people that can direct them to offices that are appropriate for their town/city/district/county/province, etc... :)

Okay, gotcha. Makes sense. All of the surrounding communities in my area are kind of like that, so I get it now. Thanks for the info.
