You only have a chance of getting pregnant during ovulation. When is your ovulation? I cannot answer that.

You will need to track your ovulation using ovulation calendars and basal body temperature.

Remember that it takes the average healthy couple up to a year or more of actively trying before conception happens.

Well, that's not long at all. Most doctors will not see you until you have been trying for a year or more.

I understand you have a 40 day cycle, but there is no way I can tell you when you are ovulating. You will have to learn to track your ovulation carefully. Preferably by using the basal body temperature method.

Agree 40 day cycle has nothing to do with issue, esp if it is regular, The issue is you need to use proper methods, ( not charts, not online or phone apps) to know actual ovulation dates. Plan sex right before
