Healthy guy developed sudden painful blisters on shoulder
I am a healthy 35 yo GWM. I recently developed a large cluster of painful blisters on my shoulder. It is very itch, sore and deep feeling. I have not noticed any symptoms other than diarreah. The blisters feel like constant pin pricks. The turn into deep red and black sores. Its been very slow to heal. I have kept it clean and have used hydrocortisone and antibiotic cremes from the drug store. I have never had anything like this before. Nor can I identify any environmental changes. What is this? Should I be worried?

My son had something similar to this. It took three doctors to diagnose and each was wrong. Dermatologist did a culture and treated it. Get it checked by a doctor.

I wonder if it is cellulitis (staph infection). Has it spread over a wider area since you first noticed it? Yes, see a doctor who, like teacherjenn said, will do a culture to determine what germ it is and will probably prescribe antibiotics.
