    Wearing glue on nails effect
I like long nails but unfortunately mine only crack & break leading me to cut them all off. I used to get them professionally done but the cost is much to high for my pocketbook so now I use glue ons. They look great but I'm concerned what the glue & lack of air to the nail bed will do to my nails in the long run.
They only stay on for a short while & when a few came off I soak them in remover & take the rest off. Then leave them off for a few days to give my nails a breather, literally.
I wonder if there's a difference in the professional ones & these? They both close off air to the nail bed but the professional ones stay on much longer only to have them immediately done again giving the nails no breather. So I guess my question is which is better. I know neither is but as I said I like long nails.
