    What should I do ?
    I'm not legally separated in Ohio and have been for years. I need to switch my aging mothers home to my name, does my husband have any rights to the property?

    No. Ohio is not a community property state.

    As you may know, the home will have to be in your name for a number of years in order to protect it from Medicare. Have you considered a geriatric trust?
