Is my belly button infected? Help!

I have had my belly button for at least 2 months.
It has been red and it has little crusties around it.
There has been pus stuff coming out of it once, but it wasn't green or some other odd color.
I clean it once a day, & I don't touch it unless I bend over.

Is it infected? Or is it just healing?

I got my belly button pierced 3 weeks ago and I think it is infected. It was doing pretty good healing until I went in the pool the other day. Its really red in between the top hole and button hole of the piercing. Its also really sore and puss is coming out of it.
