    Cartilage piercings
Okay so I got my cartilage piercings about 2 months ago. I got 2 done on the same ear at the same time. It looked like they were both healing correctly. I have been cleaning them both properly. The one on top is healing normally but the one below it is swollen and the stud has sunken in. What should I do and is this normal healing procedure?

Also I have some pain due to healing but it is not major. I have no signs of any infection as far as I am aware of. Just the swelling and stud being sunken in. Im so freakin out. This just happened this morning. After about 2 months of healing. Any suggestions?

Hey guys. I'm thinking of getting my cartilage pierced on my ear. I've heard needles are the best way to go for many reasons and have read up a bit about keeping it clean etc. Any tips or warnings? Particularly, how long is it best to leave it before 1) swimming, 2) changing the stud/ring, 3)...

I'm getting my cartilage pierced tomorrow and I'm a bit anxious. A friend of mine told me they deliberately miss the cartilage and just go through the fleshy-skin part above the cartilage... contrary to what I've heard. Is she right or not and where exactly does the piercing go through?
