No protection is foolproof. But, you could be late due to the stress of worrying. At two weeks late, you can try a home pregnancy test. Have you consulted your doctor about your high blood sugar levels? Are you diabetic?

Yes I am diabetic. I called my doctor. Since I don't have transportation
To go see him he said to raise my insulin and check my sugar level more frequently

It can be the stress, medical issues, or just your body adjusting. Of course no birth control is fool proof, and pregnnacy is always a option. You should be able to test in about a week, for pregnancy,
