I have been bestfriends with this girl for about a year now. We live together and pretty much spend every moment together. She is straight and I'm a lesbian. She acts gay with me sometimes and even pretends to be my girlfriend in public. She walks around naked and tortures me. I've been in love with her for a while now and I've told her about my feelings and she says she can't return them. Everyone always thinks she is Bi before she even opens her mouth and honestly she acts it. My heart and vagina are confused. I can't handle the hurt and sexual torture anymore. How do I deal with this?

It's really hard to turn off your feelings, especially when you spend so much time together. If you want those feelings to go away you need to distance yourself from her.

To a certain extent I know how you feel. I'm a lesbian and I've had strong feelings for a few of my straight female friends over the years but I was never in love with them which I'm thankful for. C0bra_M3nace says it best; put some distance between yourself and this girl. Being around her all the time is only making things worse; that doesn't mean you shut her out of your life completely it just means you accept the situation for what it is and spend time away from each other. Focus on finding a woman who'll return your feelings just don't keep holding onto the idea of you and your best friend becoming more. Put yourself out there, meet people, create new friendships. Remember you have a lot to offer someone, she's not the person who's going to see that because she's straight but I promise you there will be someone every bit as wonderful as her possibly even more waiting for you and they'll come into your life when you least expect it :)
