    Craftsman gt 3000 snow thrower
    I recently purchased a used Sears Craftsman GT 3000 garden Tractor Model # 917.275040. The serial# is 3100303371. I was told that the year of the tractor can be found in the first few digits of the serial number. I am not sure if my serial number reflects a March 10th of '03 or March 1st of '00 manufacture date. I want to find a good used snow thrower attachment for my tractor before this winter.
    I was wondering if any one out there can tell me what year my tractor is and what snow thrower model numbers are compatible with it.
