    Unwanted roommate
    I am renting the lease and bills are in my name. How do I get rid of unwanted roommate? He does pay for his half of the bills and rent but he does nothing else. He takes my things without asking, tried to charge me for mowing and treats me like I am being stupid. I honestly have lost respect for him and don't trust him.

    I would appreciate the help.

    Do you have any written agreement or lease with him.

    If not, give him notice and tell him to move out. It will be a 30 to 60 day notice depending on where you live. If he does not move, you file eviction in court

    You are his landlord. You have to evict him according to the laws on your area. ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

    This generally starts with a 30-60 notice to vacate and if he doesn't then housing court.
