    Could this be the start of something big!
    In Libya, the general population has turned on islamist extremists, making it plain they have had enough
    Libyans storm Islamist militia base in Benghazi - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

    We have seen the arab spring, could it be that they will also move to be free of the religious nutcases. This could be a lesson to move against religious nutcases in other places

    So much for the idea that all Islamist are fundamentalists to be led by NUTCASE far right extremists who take advantage of the political vacuum to make trouble for their own agenda of controlling the masses.

    Or maybe a reaction to a proposed 40% cut in U.S. aid to Libya if my math is correct based on this article.

    "President Barack Obama is proposing that American taxpayers spend about $1.55 billion on aid to Egypt and another $1.5 million – not billion - on aid to Libya in the fiscal year that starts on Oct. 1, which would be the same amount allocated for Egypt in the current fiscal year, and a decline of about $1 million in Libyan aid."     Not everyone is motivated by money, in any case I expect the Libyans weren't willing to pass over one tyranny for another and were smart enough to recognise it. There are different levels of fundamentalism in various countries. I expect the US owes greater allegiance to Egypt than to Libya
