17 & worryed
2 days ago I found out that I've been exposed to hpv by my gynocologist she said it wasn't that bad though which has me confused. And yes me and my boyfriend been having unprotected sex so I figure I got it from him. Other then that my gyno requested me to get a coloscopy to get more info. My question is that if my immune is strong enough which it is due to other medical incounters when I was a kid, do I have more of a chance to fight it off? Please help

From what I understand, the Gardisil part of the HPV virus is the one that causes genital warts. The rest of the vaccine protects against cervical cancer. So, you definitely shouldn't have unprotected sex! Your doctor will see if you have any of the symptoms and decide if treatment is necessary. There are medications he can give you should symptoms arise.

Okay so there's a chance I could get genital warts if the unprotected sex continues or the cancer since even though I got the 1st shot?

If you had all but Gardisil, you have protection against cervical cancer, but not the warts. The doctor will recommend treatment based on the shots you received. Unprotected sex leads to sexually transmitted diseases, so you should always use protection.
