Actually the transformer burned down it is not from Lighting Universe I mean from Lighting Unlimited, but I forgot where I got the transformer I think it is from home depot or something and I made the covering myself.
Here is a picture of the transformer after I replaced it with a working one but you can see it is burned on top.

PS I did everything myself and I installed the track lighting system on the wall and some parts on the floor as well

... of the load you are driving and compare it against the VA rating of the x-former. Sounds as if the x-former was being overloaded. Did you have it fused; primary or secondary?

    Track lighting problem
Regarding your problem with the track lighting that you installed. I viewed your picture and I am sorry to say that it looks somewhat llike an electricians nightmare.
First, you should be careful saying you purchase the transformer at Home Depot if you are not sure that is where you purchased it.
Second, I don't know if you are aware, but anytime you alter a product by adding to or taking away from the original design of the product, you now become the manufacturer and therefore void any warranty that may come with the product. Also, you become ultimately responsible for any damage incurred from such changes.
I would say you are trying to use these products in a manner that they were not made for, therefore causing danger to yourself and/or your home.
Please follow the directions exactly and try to refrain from rigging or cobbling to fit you needs.
If these directions are followed and the proper housing is used to contain the wiring and lights, you should have no problem. Also, look on any add ons such as tranformers, etc to make sure the parts are compatible.
    Safety first,
    Best Regards

Garbage disposal [ 5 Answers ]

I had a garbage disposal installed in my kitchen by a plumber. Sometime when we put garbage in and turn it on it shoots out the other drain and comes up into the other sink basin. My guess is that too much garbage is being put inthere at one time and shoots it across. Also, the instructions say to...
