Harbor breeze ceiling fan can I remove dimmer?
We have an old Harbor Breeze ceiling fan only (I'd guess 03-05). The remote with the fan shows that an added light kit can be dimmed. Lowe's only sells non-dimmable light kits that fit my fan. My question is, can I remove something inside the fan to make it not dimmable? After I installed the light kit that comes with cfls (which is what we want anyway), the lights have a strobe effect and the fan doesn't work. But when I pull the chain to turn the lights off, the fan starts moving. Could it be something else?
