    Accounting payroll?
    Employees at xxx were paid on Friday, December 27 for the five days ending on December 27. The next payday is Friday, January 3. Employees work 5 days a week. The weekly payroll amounts to $3800.

    I do not get how did they get $1520. Please help.

    The $1520 is for 2 days of wages. $3,800 / 5 = $760 per day. $760 * 2 = $1,520

    There must be more information to your homework problem, than what you have provided.
