I am a guy and I am head over heels in love with a guy I work with, I would do anything for him. I have no idea where I stand with him. One week he seems to be really interested and the next he seems really distant. We are getting on a lot better until the day arrived when his ex turned up. He asked me to leave because his ex had nowhere to go, I was devastated. I tried to ignore it but it has been too hard.

One morning while he was in the shower I looked through his phone and saw messages saying how much he missed him and stuff, but I haven't had the guts to bring it up. Even though we have still been seeing each other, this has been going on for 4 years and I just feel like I’m a shadow of my former self. I feel like I can’t do without him. I apologize all the time because he flips a lid so easily, never violent, but will go really quiet on me and then I’m thinking he is with someone else. So I will be ringing him and texting him constantly. Again today I looked through his phone and saw messages to other people about "hooking up". I just don’t know what to do, I feel like I’m losing my mind... Please, any advice...

So he is cheating on you with his ex and is not over the ex yet, Can you stay with him, knowing that you will be sharing him or could even be kicked to the curb at anytime.

Sounds like you are too closed eye and confusing love with being stupid and used.

I have been kicked to the curb before, as soon as I start to feel like I can move on, or if someone else shows any interest, he wants be back.

He even tried to take his own life one night when he saw me out with someone else, and there wasn't even anything going on with this guy, and he does still blame me to this day about what he did.

Get him out of your life and keep it that way. This drama cannot be healthy, nor is manipulation love. Nor is it his fault you cannot say no to him.
