    Zanussi washing machine stopped working
    My washing machine of around 5years was put on this morning with no problem. I left it, a little while later it tripped the circuit. It had blown the fuse, I changed it. But now it does not work, drum does not go round, water does not go in or drain. Dial goes round only to go to end of cycle. Is this a mayor problem, or is it worth a call out.

    You have a dead short somewhere. You will need a meter to find the problem. It could be just a loose wire somewhere, so there is no way to know until you trace the short with a meter.

Our 18-year old Kenmore Advantage series 80 heavy duty washing machine stopped after filling with water (no agitation or spinning, no matter where I move the control dial). It does make an electrical buzzing sound. Model number is 11082982100. Any tips you can give would be appreciated.
