    Stinky Smell
Ok just like a few others on here. I have smelly water. Either when I turn on the cold or hot water but more so the cold. Since I changed out the hot water tank just a few weeks ago. I have refilled all the water traps and cleaned all drains. It has to be the cold water but other neighbors not complaining of the bad smell, maybe a bateria growing in plumbing. The smell isn't from the drains you can smell it in a cup faintly but when it's running through the faucet it's strong. Any one have any suggestions don't want to call a plumber. I have a water baffle plumbing system with the red and blue water lines. I love this system, great for maintenance. I appreciate any help Thanks JMaple

Are you on a pump or city water? Remove a aerator and see if the water still smells. You say this happened ONLY after you replaced the hot water heater? More details please. Tom
