Dyson Animalpro Vacuum full of water.
My husband decided that it would be good idea to use my new Dyson Animalpro vacuum to hoover up puddles of water. Genius or what? Anyway, as the vacuum is only a couple of weeks old and cost me a small fortune to buy I don't want to just throw it away. I've dried the cylinder, the tube is hanging up to dry it - what else could I do please to try and save it. It actually turns on when I plug it in but just shoots out water. I really hope that it isn't completely without hope.

First I would bludgeon my husband with the vacuum cleaner.

Then I'd call the dealer and ask for help.

Then I'd bludgeon my husband again.

Actually as Dyson's construction is mostly plastic and the filters are designed to be washed at home, you will be fine.

Break it down, remove the filters and dry it out.
It will likely need a few days to fully complete, with the occasional shake, but you should be good.
