    Emancipation and School
    :confused: I'm sooo confused!! If I'm in high school and I'm pregnant and my mom signs the paper for me to get married can I quit school to take care of my baby? Someone please answer me!!

    Well, although I'm only 14, I would say, that taking care of a baby is not an easy job so...
    Its up to you, or you could ask your mom for advice, since she was once a babies mom

    Just how old are you? In which state do you live in? Just because you are pregnant does not mean you are old enough that your Mother will sign permission. If you quit school, then what? When do you ever plan on going back? Many girls, who are pregnant, can complete high school.

    It is hard, and perhaps with a parent or grandparents help, you can finish school, there are many girls who have babies that get to finish school.

    It is not going to be easy, but it is the best thing to do

    Why can you not do both? For low income people they do have free childcare this way you could still attend school.
    Do finish schooling you need at least the high school diploma for jobs.
