I was never married to my daughter father. And he now is a sex offender, and his parentings is taking me to court for custody.. will they get it?

Grandparent rights have been growing, but we need to know where you are.

For them to get custody they will have to prove you unfit. However, they could get visitation rights. You could have them verify that the father will never be alone with the child.

Why are they trying to get custody ? For them to get custody you would have to be a unfit mother and/or the child not being taken care of properly.

So why do they believe this is true ?

Now it is common for them to get visitation ?
