Hi,
A man whom I knew for some time and whom I like told me he liked me..
I told him I liked him too, expressed myself softly etc (we were writing to each other). After a day he replied that he doesn't know what to say to me about what I said to him and added- 'it never happened to me before'. I asked hom what never happened, but he said 'he was cought off guard'. I asked him to explain what does he mean but he only said sorry and that he doesn't know what to say and he needs to think what to say to my letter. So I am puzzling what the hell he meant when he said that? Thanks so much!!

I was bit drunk after spending relaxing time in a restaurant with a friend and was very gentle and open with this man, but after what he replied 'never happened to him.. caught of guard... '- I don't know what to think. ( there were lots of flieting and friendly communication between us in writing before until I started to like him)
