    Migraine medication
I went to the ER last night with a migraine. I was given a shot of Imitrex in my arm. They also gave me IV fluids along with IV Toradol and Zofran. My headache is starting to come back. I have Migranal nasal spray. How long since my visit to the ER should I wait before taking the Migranal? Thank you.

Call them back (ER) and obtain the specifics. Do not rely on third-party advice. You were administered a combination of drugs that can be interpreted only by the prescribing physician.

Have you actually seen a neurologist for your migraines? They have so many treatments including medications or not that treat the migraine before it occurs rather than after, such as topamax. Stops mant migraines before they start rather then using drugs like Imitrex, Toradol or Zofran for after the migraine hits you. This drug is also available in a generic form. Changed my life!! Talk to your doctor, and best of luck!
