    Sci fi movie about the sun?
    The sun is about to evolve from a white dwarf to a red giant. Mean while. Scientists are covertly trying to mutate humans to survive the transition. I am pretty sure it waa made for TV.

    A scientist records the first extraterrestrial transmission
    From an alien race. Young people hear music in it. The
    Music becomes addictive with the youth. The scientist
    Discovered the music can mutate dna.At first he believes
    Its an alien plot to take over the world, but he later finds out
    The sun is undergoing a permanent change. The sun's
    Out put of radiation would dramatically increase and only
    Those who underwent the change brought on by the
    Sound/music (the youth) would survive.
    The aliens were trying to save the human race.
