Why do I have itching and stinging urethra opening?
I'm female and 24 and I have been having sex with the same guy for nearly 2 years and he has no STDS and neither do I.

But for the last year my vagina has been itchy, but recently it happens when I peen and when I touch the area my urethra opening stings, I don't have any other symptoms, it all looks normal, I don't use any soap or anything just water, I haven't used condoms or lube in a while so its not irritation and I had a pap smear 2 weeks ago and it was fine. I am going to call the doctors on Monday and try to make an appointment but while I wait can any one help please?

If your vagina has been itchy over the last year, has it been consistent? If so, it could range from your body wash (try to use a non-scented kind) to your laundry detergent (switch to hypo-allergenic). It SOUNDS like you could simply have a urinary tract infection (UTI). Those things are nasty! They can occur if you ride your bicycle for an extended amount of time and don't urinate afterwards, or from having sex and not taking that post-sex pee. Try to stop by Walgreens, CVS, or one of those drug stores to get these over the counter pills that help with urinary pain. Good luck!
