Should I be seen?
Ok so I have not been feeling very good sense last night. It's really weird. My eyes feel heavy and tired and when I am not directly in front of a fan or the ac I feel very hot and flushed and my skin gets sweaty and clamy. As long as I am laying down in front of the fan or in a well air conditioned/ cold to anyone else room with no blankets or clothes on and my eyes are closed I feel fine (except for a head ache) and normal. My throat, lips and mouth are constantly dry in spite of drinking a lot of water and although I have been able to eat I have still been experiencing a very low level of feeling nauscious or however you spell it, but I am not experiencing any muscle cramps and the heat unless constantly in a cool area is constant. What could be the cause and should I be seen by a Dr.

I experienced similar symptoms when I was pregnant with my son... Is there a chance you might be in that delicate condition?

I have also had my period, so I doubt it's pregnancy.

Okay well I'm sorry but I don't know what that could be. Still I would see a doctor just to be safe.

How old are you? Menapause?
When things aren't "right" it's always best to seek medical attention.

I am 38, so I would be to young for menopause.

I also don't have health insurance and I am unemployed so going to the Dr. is a bit costly for my budget, so I was trying to get some ideas as to the cause, before I seek medical attention.

Unfortunately we can't diagnose here, and it would be dangerous to try, if this continues to be a problem then I would seek medical help.
Is there a public health department in your area that could help you out?
The Dept. of Social Services should be able to point you in the right direction for needed medical care.
I understand the financial constraints, I really do, but you shouldn't gamble with your health and you may find that it is something that can be easily dealt with.

Many women start the "change" as young as 38 now adays. But it can be anything so a doctors appointment is never wrong.
** You do know that banding has had a high degree of failure, do a Google search on it.
