Rheem criterion problems
My air conditioner is a rheem criterion. 3 days ago my air conditioner began making vibrating violently even shaking the walls on the floor under it, so we turned it off. When we turned it on again later, the air conditioner started cooling immediately but this time it would respond to the thermostat anymore. I changed the thermostat and it still didn't fix the problem. Then I went up to the attic to check the air conditioner myself and saw that the control board had been burned at the top left corner. I then replaced the control board and got the air conditioner to work again. 3 or 4 hours later it began to make the vibrating and groaning sound again. Does anyone have any information about this? Could it have something to do with the blower or the capacitor or something?
