I live in GA and we just had a freeze. Some time at night I heard a loud bang, went to investigate and found that one of the pipes from my hot water heater had begun to shake pretty violently. I have an electric water heater. Any explanations or ways to fix this? Could any of this be linked to...
Shaking in the pipes when shower is on

If I open all faucets (bath, sink and flash the toilet) and set the bath on shower, pipes start shaking and making noise. If I turn the shower off or put it through faucet, shaking stops. Is there air in the pipes? What is the problem? Thanks,

Popular subject! My hot water pipe shakes violently about 10 inches right after it comes out of tank at first elbow whenever the dishwasher or wash machine is used. My hot water tank is about 4 years old? Thoughts and comments appreciated. :confused:

Hi, I recently replaced a bath faucet. I had to replace the entire pipe (Galv) and the hardware store did not have the proper length.
