    Sharkbite Removing Plastic Inserts
I bought a sharkbite T and all 3 white plastic inserts were pushed. As I am using copper I am trying to remove them. How do I remove them?

    Hi Fred

With sharkbite fittings you don't remove the white insert... it is loaded and ready to accept all pipe types.

With gatorbite fittings, on the other hand, the white inserts are sold separately and need to be installed when using PEX type tubings.

If you'd like to review the sharkbite system click on this link for a video explanation... ;)
