    5hp briggs and stratton no spark
    I have a 5hp briggs and stratton that has no spark. What do I do? I have moved the ground wire around a few times and still no spark. No sure what I need to do to fix this.

    Hi,
    Assuming this is a newer engine with the magnetron solid state ignition, replace the armature(ignition.)

I just got a 28v707 12.5 hp rider. It doesn't start but turns over almost excessively easily. I have a weak spark but no attempt to catch even with starter fluid. No seen problems with the flywheel or the key.
