Worms in ears, medical or syke
I get the sensation of worms crawling in my ears, could this be a medical condition or psychiatric problem? Is there any medical conditions for this. Happens at random times but often when Im more stressed, I have had people look in my ears before and there is nothing there, there is no infection, trauma or pain. Taking and not taking my medication does not affect the sensation (Seroquel XL 150mg and Amitriptyline 50mg) It's still there. It fustrates me and makes me want to stick things in my ears to kill it ( if it is an it, I don't know). Im female and 21, I have emotional unstable personality disorder (euspd, also known as BPD) Major depression, anxiety. Im not a person that goes to the GP over nothing so I'm reluctant to keep going back , I only mention this problem when going with other problems. Im just getting annoyed and worried that its my stupid head making up things. I Haven't been out of the UK so it can't be a parasite.

    Maybe both.
I just found a few fleas on me after putting flea chemicals on my dog! I now am hopping around the house feeling them all over me, even though I have examined myself all over. They jumped from the dog to me, I think, as soon as I applied the Frontline.

Your psych meds might dry out your sinuses, and that includes your ear drain tube and ears themselves. The worm sensation could just be very dry ears. Put a little baby/mineral oil on a cotton ball and stuff it in your ears. Do you clean the wax out? Wax can form a hard ball when dried out and press against your membrane. Being stressed of course heightens every sensation, don't we all know. Every ache in my body turns into a major pain when I'm stressed.

Web worms (bag worms) everywhere [ 3 Answers ]

My neighbor's tree is full of web worms, I think they are also called bag worms. These fuzzy little worms, they're caterpillars really, drop onto my deck and are eating everything in sight. They don't make the web-like encasements, but they are killing my potted plants; mandevilla, vinca, mint,...

Okay so for those of you that don't remember... Callie started scratching her ears, A lot. She wimpered every time she would scratch them. I bought some ear solution and cleaned her ears and it did not help. I finally took her to the Vet and the Vet said he could not find any signs of earmites...
