No water in new kitchen faucet
We put in a suite above our garage. We hired a plumber to do the plumbing rough-in. The suite is mostly finished with working plumbing but we had to delay the kitchen faucet. The water supply tubes where sealed off.

Now I installed the faucet but there is no water. I suspect the plumber for some reason installed shut-off valves somewhere is the garage ceiling which is now drywalled over. The plumber will not return my calls. Is this a common practice to install shut-off valves like this? I've never encountered this before. The valves are always installed under the sink in my experience.

I cut one hole where I thought they might be but found nothing. Any advice where they might be or do I have to keep cutting holes? Maybe it's something else?

But until you contact the plumber you won't know for sure.

Did you remove the aerator and check again? If you did that and still have no water did you unhook the supplies and see if you had pressure to the faucet? If no 56hen do so and get back with the results. Good luck, Tom

Thanks. I took off one the supply lines and found that there was in fact water pressure. So I took apart the faucet and jiggled the filter. That seemed to have did the trick. Water is now flowing.
