    Tax Credits for H1B visa holders
    Hello
    I am an H1B visa holder returning to Canada this year after one year of employment in the US. If I sell my house in the US after the date of termination of my US employment will I be entitled to the tax credit of the loss I will be taking on the sale of the house on my US tax filing for 2012? Thanks!

    Unfortunately, no. Such a loss on your personal home is NOT tax deductible.
