    Rocker arm came loose
I have aDR lawn vacuum, was running then stopped.I found the intake raocker arm came loose. I put it back on and it runs like a champ. Is there something I have to adjust or fix so it doesn't happen again?

    Hi,
If it was the arm itself, a valve adjustment. If it was the stud, generally Loctite.

It was the nut that came loose on the intake side' causing the arm tocome loose.Think it is just loctite?

    Hi,
No, it would generally have a set screw inside the nut that is tightened once the valves are adjusted correctly.

    Hi,
Briggs is pretty stingy about allowing manuals to be posted. They allow their spec sheets and posters, but cry foul and copyright over manuals. Some I have, some I do not. Here is from a Vanguard manual. Clearance is 0.004 - 0.006"
    Peace,
